CHECK-RAISE: To waive theright to bet until a bet has been made by an opponent, and thento increase the bet by at least an equal amount when it is yourturn to act. COLLECTION: The fee charged in a game (taken eitherout of the pot or from each player). COLLECTION DROP: A feecharged for each hand dealt. COMMON CARD: A carddealt faceup to be used by all players at the showdown in thegames of stud poker whenever there are insufficient cards leftin the deck to deal each player a card individually. (2) 53 cards(including the joker), often used in ace-to-five lowball anddraw high.
